"Here's flowers for youHot Lavender, Sweet mints, Savory, Marjoram,. .
.these are flowers of middle summer. . ." Shakespeare, A Winter's Tale
from Herbs and Herb Lore of Colonial America,
by Colonial Dames of America, p. 33
THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT
If the world as we know it did not exist anymore, and your medicine shelf
was bare, what would you do if the responsibility for your health care was
in your own hands?
Right now, you can go to the health food store, food co-op, Joanie’s office,
the pharmacy or large department store to pick up your vitamins, herbal
remedies and nutrition supplements.
Or you could make a phone call, credit card in hand, and have your natural
health care supplements delivered to your doors.
It is common knowledge that our foods no longer contain the nutrients they
once held, so what if there were no more conveniences to supply us our
life-and health-giving herbs and vitamins?
Instead of giving the responsibility for your health to whatever economic
and/or political winds that blow, you should be wise, safe, and secure.
I’m not trying to be an alarmist - in fact, I’m trying NOT to be.
I’m about to show you how it is possible to be ready for anything.
And it‘s great to feel that way.
Don’t you owe that to yourself and your family?
Chances are that where you live, in your neighborhood or the countryside
surrounding your dwelling, there are “wild” plants which can supply all but
the most extreme of health care needs. Or you may have the capability to
grow certain herbs to help take care of you - in a lot, garden, window box,
etc.
You have the ability to gather these plants, make them into simple nutrients
or remedies, and GIVE YOUR BODY WHAT IT NEEDS TO HEAL ITSELF, as I firmly
believe God intended.
Many plants in your immediate environment are quite useful - and powerful -
healing agents that can be used, either in a pinch, or as part of ongoing
therapy.
To learn how, please make time to attend my two-part seminar, offered on two
successive Saturdays. Maybe you can only attend ONE of those days. Even so,
you will be better prepared and in charge of your own health, without being
dependent on anyone else.
Come and find out how easy it is, during my course

Herbal Highlight -
Neem - (Azadirachta indica)
Many of you who have heard me speak about natural insecticides have heard
about this very useful plant.
Before we in the United States began using the extracts of this plant to
kill bugs, Ayurvedic healers in India used it as medicine.
It is a tree in India, and the juice from the leaves is often used to treat
skin complaints.
People put Neem leaves in their homes to eliminate insects from their beds
and their stored foods.
Different parts of the tree have different healing capabilities:
anti-malarial, antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-parasitic,
anti-inflammatory, and anti-ulcer.
Use with caution as there are indicators that Neem oil and leaves can be
toxic.
When used on the outside of the skin in soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc., it
has beneficial effects similar to Tea Tree.
There is a very useful garden product on the market called “Schultz
Fungicide 3”
It kills most insects and strongly repels the rest. It kills funguses (like
black spot on roses) and mites on plants.
Neem is even used in dental preparations due to its excellent cleansing
properties.

Joanie Lapic is an
Independent Distributor of Natures
Sunshine
WHY I USE NATURE’S SUNSHINE HERBS
There were times in my life when I needed the convenience of herbs in
supplement form. That’s because, in this form, they are quickly available. I
kept searching for a company which offered reasonably priced, reliable,
excellent, quality herbal supplements.
For many years I tried different brands, and some of them were pretty good.
Then, at a time in my life when I needed it most, I was introduced to a
product called
Nutri-Calm, by Nature’s Sunshine. Many folks I’ve met have
heard me tell how this product (and lots of prayer) saved me from an actual,
very scary nervous breakdown.
Nature’s Sunshine’s
Nutri-Calm is a blend of
1.) herbs that nourish and calm the nervous system, and
2.) vitamins needed for dealing with stress.
In time, by using herb and nutrition therapy, and holistic healing methods,
but mainly the use of
Nutri-Calm, I overcame debilitating stress symptoms
and restored my serenity.
This chapter in my life gave me confidence in Nature's Sunshine products.
Soon, I made the decision to carry them in my Everlasting Gardener office.
Since then, I have been privileged to use their herbs and nutrients to help
bring healing to many people. I am proud and pleased to be able to offer
herb and nutrition supplements that really work.

HEALTH ANALYZER
( this links to the
Health Analyzer page on the
MYNSP site.)
See for yourself what your health strengths and weaknesses are.
This analyzer is an important step to help you find out your personal health
needs.
It identifies specifically where you should concentrate your time and
effort, without wasting your money.
It helps you focus on your body system(s) that needs the most nutrition.
Like the singers in a chorus, the nine body systems need to work in harmony.
The nine body systems are: nervous, structural, immune, respiratory,
digestive, intestinal, circulatory, urinary and glandular.
When one body system suffers ill health, other systems are affected. Total
health requires that all body systems work harmoniously.
As long as you answer the questions as accurately and honestly as possible,
YOU HAVE TAKEN YOUR FIRST STEP TO BETTER HEALTH.
Step 1 - Complete your Analysis
Answering the following questions will help to determine your health
profile.
When you are done, click "view results" to calculate your results. Then you
are able to choose the products to help strengthen your weakest body
systems.
Most of Nature’s Sunshine's products are matched to each of the nine body
systems. This allows you to easily select the products that will help you
achieve your personal health goals.
Just remember, when you decide to order supplements to improve your
health, you have the option to order at the Member Price.
Look for the words "Sign-Up" - and that's your opportunity.
You get your Nature's Sunshine products at the Member Price when you
sign-up with a $40.00, or more, order.
That same $40.00 product order gives you a free membership for a year.
Of course you may feel more comfortable just trying the products at Retail
Cost at first, without signing up and becoming a member.
If you have any question at all, please do not hesitate to contact me:
