ARNICA
Arnica Montana

Arnica likes to grow in the sun, in acidic, sandy soil.
It is one of the best choices for soothing pain or inflammation on the skin, but only when the skin is not broken.
Usually, the flowers are made into a tincture, ointment or infused oil, to help heal sprains, wounds and bruises, especially if there is pain or inflammation of the skin, but NOT to be used on broken skin. It is
also helpful for comforting rheumatic pain and for chilblains when skin is not broken. It is a great addition to a soothing footbath.

Caution:
Arnica is potentially toxic when taken internally.
